This is the table topper that I was quilting when I broke the check spring. It still looks great!
Happy Monday morning. Back to work this morning. We had early (6:58 am) tee times this weekend so: Friday I got my chores done by noon and sewed for awhile in the afternoon. Saturday, played golf, and was home by 10:30, finished my ironing and sewed. Sunday, played golf, was home by 10:30, and planned on quilting a stack of quilts and table toppers that have been waiting patiently for me to get downstairs! I had about 6 inches to go, and broke the check spring on my thread tension. I wasn't very happy--no spare check spring. I went back upstairs, sewed the binding on the table topper and then made some cute binding clips from a pattern that I found on Moda Bake Shop

Hello Vonda, aka "Crash"! This is a sneak preview of your quilt and shams.

I used a pantagram "Sunny Day" designed by Willow Leaf Studio. The Quilt Pattern is "As the Wind Blows" designed by Sherri Falls for This and That patterns. Most of the fabric was "Sweet Memories" by Clothworks.
