I wanted to show you the 13" quilt by Kristine @Arizona, "Never Take Beer to an Interview" from "Country Threads Goes to Charm" that I won in a raffle held by Meruno of pleasentreeus.blog to benefit the people of Japan. Although the drawing is over, you can still donate through the American Red Cross website.
Thanks to Meruno and Kristine.

I have been working a little more than I cared to these past few weeks, and that means a lot less time to sew and quilt. I managed to quilt two baby quilts for my sister, and then made a disappearing 16 patch that I found on Melissa Corry's blog (happy quilting melissa). I also finished a table topper with fabric that I bought over a year ago.
I played golf this morning, so I have not got the binding sewn on yet.
Happy Quilting!

Since 2003, Quilts of Valor Foundation (QOVF) volunteers have made over 32,000 quilts to donate to wounded service members returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. They have extended their efforts, and want to donate quilts to all American combat veterans who were wounded or touched by war, no matter what the conflict.
If you would like to get involved, Moda has a plan for you. It's called "Just One Star". They are hoping to make 100 quilts in 100 days. Flags of Valor, just like the one above. They need 1800 star blocks. If quilters wanted to make Just One Star, it would be a huge help!! For more information, check here!
