OK, I fess up. I found my "Haunted House" quilt last night underneath a BIG stack of quilts. I didn't realize how many quilts that I have. Maybe, I should join Darlene and have a big stash sale! And if you read a comment "Anonymous" signed with "XOXO", it is my sister!
Thank you one and all for the nice things that you have been saying about my "Red and White" quilt from the Happy Quilting Quilt Along!!!

Some how I have ended up one block short?! But, 30 blocks are sewn together, and the two borders are cut and waiting. Would like to finish this week before I head out of town for a couple of days.
I have packed up all of my red, white and blue quilts and have been slowing adding fall and halloween quilts around the house. However, I can't seem to find my "Haunted House" quilt. I don't think it found legs and walked out! It has to be here somewhere!

I have about half a block before I finished Stars block #4. It will have to wait until after supper. I just wanted to share my pumpkin bread receipe with you!
1 tsp. salt 2 cups pumpkin (16 oz can)
1 tsp baking soda 1 cup vegetable oil
1 T cinnamon 1 cup chopped walnuts
Recipe calls for three 8 oz boxed of Chopped Dromedary Dates. I used one box and added one 6 oz pkg of dried cranberries.
Mix all ingredients (use a mixer as dough is thick) and spoon into two greased loaf pans.
Bake at 3500 for one hour. Insert toothpick to test for doneness. If still doughy, continue to bake until toothpick comes out clean.
This is a very moist bread and soooooo good!

I played golf this morning. I hit every fairway with my "new" driver. It's too bad that I had such a difficult time on my second shot!!! When I got home I made a double batch of Pumpkin Bread. It is so good, that I make it all year around.
I am now working on my "Stars" Blocks. I should get the third blocks finished today, start on the fourth tomorrow and then...only two more sets!
I may be seeing "stars" in my sleep tonight. Ha Ha!

I have finished sewing the binding on a little Halloween Wall Hanging. Have I mentioned that I LOVE HALLOWEEN! (For whatever reason, my pictures have been blurry lately. I may have to invest in a new camera. OR stop shaking!) And, there is a sleeve on the bag, but I haven't decided where to hang it. Plus, it is a little early. It was 90 degrees here today.
I don't think that I have mentioned this but Sandra Kaye is having a "Quilties" Swap. You make three quilties, mail them to her and get three quilties back. I have my first quiltie finished. GUESS WHAT? It's a Halloweenie Quiltie! I can't show you yet but...

What a great Labor Day Weekend. I finished up my scrappy "Endless Possibilities". I started quilting it one way and ended up with another?!
I also worked on several small projects and as soon as I sew the bindings on, I will show them as well. I need to go back to work tomorrow to rest up!
I did some work on my "Stars" quilt but am still behind.
Catch you soon!

It's the start of Labor Day weekend and all my golfing buddies are out of town, so I get to sew and quilt all weekend! I finished sewing the binding on my first Log Cabin last night. The fabric is Scarborough Fair and I used a Baptist Fan to quilt it.
I am off to get groceries and hopefully won't leave the house until Tuesday morning when it's back to work!
