While I didn't do every month's Schnibbles, I made a few and my favorite was "Bounce".

Missouri Quilt Company

While scanning FB yesterday, I saw a tutorial by Missouri Quilt Company called "Zig Zag".  I watched the tutorial on "UTube" and decided to make my own.  I used French General's "Panier De Fleur" (which by the way was part of my stash).  My pics were a little dark, but I didn't want to wait until tomorrow when it was light to show you my results!

I also received a book in the mail today.  I am joining Darlene and a few friends in making mini quilts though the year.  I bought my book used on Amazon AND it came autographed !!

This is the first quilt we are making.  I got all my pieces cut and will start to sew tomorrow!

Quilt Police

I have had my own issues the last couple of weeks because of The Quilt Police or people who think that they are!  The following is a quote from my blogging friend, Darlene.

"This is who we fear ..."The Quilt Police"
Those two silly women, aka the Quilt Police, are laughing and giggling at us because we have allowed them to judge us.
We've taken everything 'they' say to heart.
Surely you've met them!
Oh they look sweet but they wield a mean tongue - they judge us and we allow it.
This must stop NOW.
Don't allow The Quilt Police to get you down!"

I WILL NOT LET THEM JUDGE ME ANY MORE!!

So, what have I been up to.  I finished my quilt for the 2013 Humane Society Mardi Gras and this year it is CATS.  You know, the more that I look at this quilt, the more that I love the design!  I am definitely going to make it again!!

I have also made several table toppers using up lots of my charm packs purchased over the last couple of years.  Plus, a couple of newer charm packs.

Also, made a small quilt for Valentine's Day that I saw on Carol's blog.
Kissing Booth (I think that I needed a few more darker pink so the heart would POP!)
And finally, my work in progress.  It is called "Scattered"  by Allison Harris (Cluck Cluck Sew) from "Modern Quilts from the Blogging Universe"  I am using a fun fabric called "Brrr".  It will end up 60.5" x 72.5"

Country Homecoming Quilt

I didn't play golf this weekend.  It snowed Friday and then the temperature was in the low 20's.  Plus, I had to watch the Seahawks play today!

I am going to have a table next Saturday at the Prosser's Farmer's Market so I have been making little Valentine mug rugs and table topper's to sell.  I have also been doing a lot of quilting on some of the stack downstairs.  I have sewn the binding on several of the projects but am not ready for pics yet.

Having said that, I do have one pic of my "Country Homecoming Quilt" because I have the vines sewn on and won't have time nor the light in the next two days to take the pictures to show our progress.  I have stars and leaves to sew on and then get it quilted.  The final reveal will be February 15th.

Another Busy Week-end!

I got a letter last week from my doctor saying that I needed to make a follow-up appointment.  I think we may have a discussion about my obsessive behavior.

We had dinner New Year's Day at my brother in law and sister in law.  Kathy had a Christmas table mat that I had given her a few years ago on the table.  I took it to figure out the pattern and ended up making two more mats.

"California Girl"
"Strawberry Fields"
I made two pillows from my "Little Sweeties"

I found a jelly roll of "Grace" while I was making the Twister Wreath.  I made a lapsize quilt using a pattern called "Strips and Squares" from the new "Easy Quilts".

And finally, I made five Valentine mug rugs using the same pattern that I used for my Christmas mug rugs.

I am off to get supper ready so that I can watch the second half of the Seahawk game and watch them WIN!!

Twister Wreath

While in Wenatchee last week,  I stopped at a little quilt shop "The Attic Window Quilt Shop" and bought a new "Twister" Book, "Let's Twist...One More Time".  Today, I made the "Triple Twisted Wreath".  It measures 45" x 45" and I used Moda's "Grace".  It is now on the stack by the quilter!  LOL

WIP Little Sweeties

I have almost finished up three more "Little Sweeties".  I haven't decided whether to make little pillows or just put a backing on and quilt it.  Maybe, I will do some of each!
