I finished my November Schnibbles. However, when I was getting ready to sew the last border on, I spilled my Diet Pepsi Vanilla over it! I quilted it and threw it in the wash. BUT, not all the Diet Pepsi Vanilla came out. So, I will add this to MY stuff and not my gift stash! One of my quilting friends suggested that I tea stain the whole thing.

I had the same thing happen (Coke for me) with a table topper I was donating to an auction. I put it in the washer with some tan liquid Rit dye and you could never tell. I took it to the auction and I think it was a bigger hit than if I had not dyed it.
ReplyDeleteLove your Schnibbles. I agree, just tea-dye it. I used an off white for my background so I think it will work. Have you tried OxiClean and soaking it for a bit?
