"Friday Friday Friday" was a phrase that a friend used to sing to his daughter on Friday mornings!
I was called into work last night about 8 pm and got home at 2:30 am. Let me tell you that I was very tired. My feet even hurt. To keep myself awake between tests I worked on my "General's Wives" quilt, which I will show you Monday for BOM Rehab. I made two more totes:
The dogs let me sleep in until about 6:30 am when they started playing on the bed. So, I got up and very slowly got my chores done and sat down to my sewing machine for a couple of hours before my hair appointment. I bought a kit to participate in Pam Buda's "Forget Me Not Sew-along" and got caught up with four blocks! They are suppose to be 5" but some how mine are only 4 7/6"
Have you been viewing the "Bowls with Borders" with Madam Samm.
I love that pattern but have never paper pieced before. Well, today I practiced and look what I made paper pieced trees:
I still need to practice before I try my bowlies! No golf tomorrow so will work on my Irish Chain Quilt! And my "Tetris" block.
Have a great week-end.

Small Tote using Alexander Henry Fabric |
Large Grocery Tote using Sweetwater's "Lucy's Crab Shack" Canvas |
Large Grocery Tote I finished earlier in the week! The fabric is Alexander Henry. |

Lovely blocks, Sandy. I especially liked your trees. I would like to try one. Did you make up the pattern? Or find it on the internet?
