I was able to check off all of my list from this morning.
1. Sew my Nappy's Dowry block.
2. Sew m 2013 Designer Mystery block.
3. Finish the last row of my "Modern View" quilt. Order the border fabric.
Here is a picture of my "Modern View" quilt without the final border. I did order the fabric this morning!! It is the gray dot fabric.

I was also able to start a new table topper, went to lunch with my sister-in-law and pin my Courthouse Steps on the quilter. Tomorrow, I am going to start a Dresden Plate quilt! I will let you know how that goes!
Read JoAnne's post at the Patriotic Quilter. That Dresden that she and Thelma from Cupcakes 'n Daisies has some weird sizes and use fewer wedges than normal. I still want to do that little one from Fig Tree in the orange and blacks, so let me know how it goes.
ReplyDeleteThe quilt top is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLove this. You know how I love anything you make in blue!!!
ReplyDeleteDresden plates was the first quilt I made way back when I still lived in Bellingham and took a class from the rec dept. Everyone got pillows for xmas. OMG, that during the Charlie time....
This quilt top turned out very beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeen a while since I have read your blog. You have been busy!! I feel like such a slacker...my only excuse is that I still can't get into my sewing room. See you Aug 3.
