How is your crafting day going? I took the day off and slept in until 5 am. After watching a little golf and reading the morning paper, I finished decorating the tree, did a load of laundry, and made a double batch of pumpkin bread. I sat down at my sewing machine at 7 am and worked on a quilt called "Louisa's Attic" from this months McCalls Quilting. Here is what I have finished so far. All the blocks are complete and two rows sewn together. I have one more row to add and then wait for some border fabric to arrive. I used up a bunch of my Fig Tree fabric. I know that it isn't a Christmas quilt, but one goes where the spirit moves!
Last night I finished sewing on the binding of a little table runner. I used Moda's Wintergreen!
To wrap up the afternoon, I went to the doctor and got a clean bill of heath. No issues, just my annual check up! I have some homemade mac and cheese in the oven and some salmon fillets ready to bake in about a half an hour.
It's back to work tomorrow, and then the week end is mine!!
