While I was at Quilt Retreat, I met a gal, Kathy Coontz, who is the Montana State Coordinator for the Quilts of Valor Foundation. I made a commitment to send her a QOV quilt from my stash. While sorting through my unquilted stash, I found and quilted another one to send. Sew, tomorrow, two quilts will be on their way to Montana!!
This morning, I got up at my usual early 4:30 am and after my coffee and catching up with my blogs, I finished up a quilt top that I started at retreat. It has been loaded on my quilting machine and one row is complete. I wanted to do something a little different with the blocks. Here is what I came up with:
I will be in Walla Walla most of the day tomorrow--golfing! Sew, I probably will not get any sewing, or quilting done. BUT, will have a nice day outside!!
PS Happy Birthday Vicki!!
