My partner and I did not place in the two lady best ball tournament at our home course this past week end. BUT, we had fun and won a couple of prizes in the raffle.
This morning I was up early but didn't start sewing. Instead, I loaded up my golf clubs and headed to Yakima for a team competition. My partner and I won our match and placed second in the over all competition. Our team placed next to last for the season!!
I finished up this Halloween table runner yesterday. I have also made one using "Grants Pass", but haven't quilted it yet!
I have enough 2.5" squares to make another table runner and to finish the binding on my "Lucy". I might even get it quilted!

ReplyDeletewtg!! Golfing is so much fun ~ we are no means ready for tournaments.. maybe who can dress the worst! You're quilt is going to be AWESOME!! I can't believe that I don't own a halloween quilt.. what's wrong with me!! : ) Maybe next year.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.
It sounds like you and your partner make a great team!
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear you played so well in competition.
Darling Halloween table runner.
Retirement certainly seems to agree with you! IT's good to hear that you're enjoying every day to the fullest.
ReplyDeleteI have been getting sidetracked by playing golf on the last of our nice days in Michigan. It is putting my quilting behind schedule, but I will have all winter for that.
ReplyDeleteLove the quilting in red! My husband (only 42) would love to retire and work on his golf game. He only has 23 more years of work!
