Friday Night Sew In: Finished my Pennsylvania Dutch BOM.
I woke up this morning feeling miserable--cough, cough, cough! No warning that this was coming. Went and played golf anyway--coughed and blew my nose around all 18 holes!

Good morning everyone, I have decided to participate in the Friday Night Sew In over at Heidi's.
I need to get my Pennsylvania Dutch BOM finished and would also like to start/finish my March Table Runner. Tune in tomorrow when I will hopefully have pictures of my projects!

Sad but True: I sewed my pieces for "Roundabout" to the wrong side, so I had to make two quilts for March. But, the good news is that I like them both!! The first one was made using "Simple Abundance" and the second was made with a jelly roll that I found in my stash--two birds with one stone. LOL. Anyway, the first one kinda has a pattern but the second one "POPS"!

Haven't had enough time for quilting these past couple of weeks. I quilted a beautiful batik quilt for a friend and made my February Table Topper, using "Astor Manor".

I finished a quilt this week-end with fabric that I bought a couple of years ago. It actually was a kit but I didn't particularly like the pattern. The fabric is Moda's "Christmas Past". I also posted a couple of the blocks that I quilted. I am happy with the way it turned out.

Finished Febuary BOM. Can you believe this is already #4!

Stash Report:

Used: 35.9 yards
Purchased: 4 yards
Net: 31.9 yards

I bought 2 yards of new fabric for my valentine and two yards of backing for my Schnibbles and Vinh's Little Girl's baby quilt!

Oops, I have bought some more fabric but it isn't here yet, so will add it later. Got some of Moda's new "Blush" and Moda "Simple Abundance" (Bonnie and Camille)

I finished my Valentine Table Topper, using "L"amour" by Sandy Gervais. It is sitting on my coffee table and is covered with little golf treasure boxes! I have been quilting for almost 6 years and this is my first Valentine! Next on my list is an Easter Table Topper. Any bets on when it will be finished! LOL

I have finished my February Schnibbles. I used fabric from my stash ("In the Pink" and "In the Pink 2"). You may recognize the fabric--it is leftover fabric for the quilt that I made in my blog header.

I have to work this week-end so I don't know if I will get my Valentine Table Topper done in time. But when finished, I will post it.

Have a great week-end!

I have finally had a couple of quilts finished up. The first is a baby quilt for a friend at work. He and his wife are having a girl and I thought that this fabric "Chapel Hill Flannel" would be very feminine for a little girl! The front was made from my stash and I purchased 1.5 yds for the backing.

Good Monday morning. I also finished up a "mini" quilt. I saw a pattern in "Fons and Porter" that I liked. The only problem was I couldn't figure out the instructions and it turned out about half the size that it should have been. The pattern stated 11" x 14"; mine turned out 6.5" x 8.5". Oh well!
I really did not do much sewing this week-end. Golfed Saturday and my step daughter came over for a walk and dinner and then I golfed on Sunday. I did sew a quilt together yesterday. But, I still need to add borders. So, no pics!

I finished my January Table Topper from "Cotton Way" and "The Fat Quarter Shop". It was quite easy and I rather like it!
PS I sent this to my cousin Vonda for her birthday!
