My 4th of July Parade

My camera has been replaced and now I can show you what I have been up to!  This past week-end was spent with family in Everett, Washington.  I took over three quilts that I finished for my sister and brought back three quilts.  It seems like I never get ahead!  LOL  My sister and I visited one of her favorite quilt shop.  It is called "Aunt Mary's" and is located in Smokey Point.  I bought two charm packs of Free Spirit's "Veranda".  I just finished a small quilt.

This is a quilt that I started a month or so ago and just finished quilting it.  It took me about 40 hours to complete.  I don't know if the pictures do it justice, but...

I also finished my "Granny Squares", at least the top is finished.  I used "Lovely" from Sandy Gervais.

Next is a little quilt made with a jelly roll that I found while cleaning.  It is small enough to be a table topper.

Yesterday, I got my red, white and blue quilts out of the cupboard and finished decorating the house.  I bought flag napkins and paper plates and have made red, white and blue cookies!  I have a few other quilts in various stages of completion and will show them later!  Have a great and safe 4th of July!!

  3. Sandy you actually took back 4 tops - 2 grannies, 1 Red Riding Hood and 1 Maise. But they're all small. I have trimmed the ones you brought over(Thank you!). Had a heck of a time finding my tools.

Thank you for clearing the quilt stuff and setting the table.
