Hushabye #2

I finished this quilt a week ago but forgot to take pictures until this morning.  I used an old fat quarter bundle of "Lilly and Will" by  Bunny Hill.

If your dad is still around, give him a big hug!!

Another UFO Finished!

I made this flimsy November 2013 and finally quilted it this past week and got it on our bed June 14, 2015.  It is called "Scrappy Mountain Majesties" and is one of Bonnie Hunter's many many scrappy quilt patterns.

I have to get a roast in the crock pot and then back to my sewing machine to work on another project!

All Bound Up!!

I golfed  early this morning and am very grateful to be finished by 10:30 am.  It is now 99 degrees here in the Tri-Cities!  PHEW!

I ran outside very quickly and took these pictures of a couple of table toppers.  The first one has some Bonnie and Camille fabric, but I can't remember which one!  I found it buried in my stash! The second is a scrappy 4th of July motif.

I forgot to show you this little gem.  I tried to make a "Pineapple" block (yes, I failed before).  I took the picture on the golf course after sewing the binding on and then gave it to one of my playing partners!

Yesterday, I finished quilting a nice scrappy queen size quilt for our bed.  I need to sew the binding on and then, I will show you pictures!!

Update Wednesday

Do you wonder what to title your post?  Not that you necessarily need one but...

I have been drinking Italian Soda's all day and trying to finish up some little projects.  You, of course, know that I always have more than one going at a time.  I think that I have four waiting to have the binding stitched!  Sew, here are three mini's:  The first one is called "Summer Star" and is for Sherri McConnell's new "Minis and More".  I used "More Hearty Good Wishes".  I made this mini before with brighter colors.

First "Summer Star" with "Color Theory"

The second/third mini is from "Scraps of Life" blog spot.  However, I made mine mini and used "More Hearty Good Wishes".  Have you noticed that I love this fabric!!

The last mini is from "Moda Candy, Oh Sew Sweet" and is on page 17.  I used Moda's "Richmond Reds".  I quilted a big one just like it for my sister last year.  Her's was scrappy and she used grey for her background fabric!

I finished sewing my MBS quilt and am waiting on the fabric for the backing.  I think that my cousin Vonda has eyes on it!

Until next time, keeping your sewing machine oiled and your scissors sharp!
