What's Black and White and Red All Over?

We got snow yesterday and it is 19 degrees, but, the sun is shining!!  It is suppose to snow again this afternoon/evening.  Since I can't play golf, I searched through my stash and came up with an idea for a scrappy quilt.  It will be Black, White and Red. I cut a nice stack of 4.5" squares and a stack of 2.5" squares.

The blocks consist of four patches and squares sewn together to make a "cog".  I only have four blocks made and, I have no idea how big it will turn out.  I will let you know!

Sew, I am listening to "The Execution" by Dick Wolf and trying to decide what to fix for supper.  Soup sounds good!  What are your Friday plans?

  1. I thought the correct answer to your question is "a zebra with a sunburn," but I think your quilt will top that! Interesting pattern! Can't wait to see more as you progress.
Has the celebrating over the Superbowl win settled down???
