Saturday Morning!

I have been retired for 11 days now and I thought that I would start sleeping in.  HA!  I was up at 5 am! And, trying to vary my routine and spread out a bit, I did not sit down at my sewing machine.  I had a cup of coffee, read the paper, and then went downstairs and quilted two small table toppers.  Since no one but my sister commented on the last post about my cute backing fabric, I am going to assume that you all loved it too!!

Sew, I saw this quilt on a blog, and don't remember where, but thought that I could piece it without a pattern.  The first thing that I should have done when I ran into trouble was to take it outside and take a picture to know how the screwed up HSTs should have been sewn.  It is pretty obvious in the picture. Anyway, this one will have to stay home and be mine.  If anyone wants it, send me your address to: srowe1948@gmail.com.  If I get more than one person wanting it, I will draw a name!

Yesterday afternoon, I made a double batch of Blueberry Lemon Bread, sew I could take a loaf to one of my golfing buddies!  I am off to the quilt shop for some border fabric.  Sew you later!
