While I was at Quilt Retreat, I met a gal, Kathy Coontz, who is the Montana State Coordinator for the Quilts of Valor Foundation.  I made a commitment to send her a QOV quilt from my stash.  While sorting through my unquilted stash, I found and quilted another one to send.  Sew, tomorrow, two quilts will be on their way to Montana!!

This morning, I got up at my usual early 4:30 am and after my coffee and catching up with my blogs, I finished up a quilt top that I started at retreat.  It has been loaded on my quilting machine and one row is complete.  I wanted to do something a little different with the blocks.  Here is what I came up with:

I will be in Walla Walla most of the day tomorrow--golfing!  Sew, I probably will not get any sewing, or quilting done.  BUT, will have a nice day outside!!

PS  Happy Birthday Vicki!!

  1. Thank you for the birthday greeting. I got a little ironing pad in the mail today.
Where's the picture of the QOV quilts?

  2. Thank you for the QOV pictures. Great job giving them away!

  3. Hope that golfing was fun!!! The quilts look lovely as usual.
