Yesterday while traveling through blogland, I stopped in at Sandie Kaye's blog. She is a very creative and imaginative fabric artist. I have participated in some of her "Quilties" swaps where she has on occasion gotten me to think outside the box. So last night I came across a paper pieced heart and decided this morning to get my creative juices flowing. Here is what I came up with:

You had to do it, didn't you?? I have to make a Valentine-themed mugrug for a swap, and I considered doing a crazy-quilt heart, but then went another route. Now I think I need to go back and reconsider again. Beautiful!!
