Scrappy Sunday

Happy Mothers Day to all the Mothers out there!

I don't know how it could have been a better day!  I played golf this morning and shot a pretty good score.  When I got home, I sat down at my sewing machine and went to work. I sewed the binding to two quilts, cut lots and lots of 1" strips and started "Small Steps", a heirloom courthouse steps quilt created by Jo Morton.  Here is my first six blocks, all of which are 5" square.  I only need to make 138 more!

I also cut and pressed 160 HST for a quilt along over at Aunt Reen's Place!  I am using "Punctuation" layer cake (another stash buster!)

And best of all, I watched Tiger kick Cry Baby Sergio's butt!  I hope that your mother's day was as good as mine!!
