Today would have been my mother's 88th birthday!  She passed away on my birthday in 1991 and I still miss her and my dad.

She would have loved what I am doing today.  I used to sew things for her all the time and I know that she would have loved my quilts!

Happy Birthday Mom.  Love you!

  1. Sending Comforting hugs to you today Sandy!
I've lost my parents as well so I understand your loss. No matter how old we get or how long it's been - they never leave our hearts. Happy Birthday to your Mom!
And you're right, she would have loved all of your quilts & accomplishments!

  3. Your mom would be sooooo proud of you and all the beautiful quilts that you make. My mother died when I was 10 and I still miss her every day. Just sit down and have a cup of tea and pretend you are talking with her-----she'll hear you. Hugs
